Help us understand how people really use TikTok

This study has two parts. Today: a few questions about your media use, then we'll show you how to request your TikTok data. TikTok takes a few days to prepare it. When it arrives, we'll invite you back to upload it — that second part is where the main payment is.

What we collect. Your answers below, and your TikTok data export — which contains your watch history, searches and activity. We use it for media research only.

Your rights. Taking part is voluntary. You can withdraw at any time and ask us to delete your data by contacting us through Prolific.
